Wednesdayite (Sheffield Wednesday Supporters Society Ltd) will be holding their 7th AGM on the 10th December at the Foers Lounge, 1st floor South Stand, Hillsborough, S6 1SW. SWFC AGM
SWFC PLC have announced the date for their AGM. The meeting will be held at Cutlers Hall on the 17th December at 7pm.

BOARD OF DIRECTORS STATEMENT
For the year to 31 May 2008 the group has generated a retained profit figure of just over £2.2 million. A significant profit has been generated for the second financial year in succession despite the club having endured such a difficult season on the playing field.
Despite an exciting finale to the previous season, the club suffered a considerable fall in match attendances during the 2007/2008 campaign and this is reflected in the operating loss of £162,000. However, the results are redeemed by a profit on disposal of players' registrations of £3,274,000. In the view of the Board, the deals acheived for the sales of Chris Brunt and Glenn Whealan were appropriate under the circumstances that prevailed at the time, bearing in mind that the players' contracts were nearing expiry and both had made no secret of their desire to leave.'
